10. New Athos cave
New Athos Cave opens the top ten most beautiful and amazing Abkhazian places that must be visited by tourists. It is located in the depths of the Iverskaya Mountain. It belongs to the genus of karst caves, which was formed during the melting of limestone rocks, which took place over several million years. The discovery of this unique place created by nature itself took place in the early 60s of the last century. The New Athos cave received from the locals such a nickname as the Endless Pit, due to the fact that it has very deep cavities and landslides. The length of the cave is more than two kilometers. For its full examination, a special sightseeing train operates here. In total, eight halls are presented here, where the majestic and bewitching beauty of nature is hidden.
9. Stone Bag Gorge
Stone Bag Gorge or the Yupshar Gorge is one of the best places in Akhazia, which you should definitely visit. It is located near Lake Ritsa. Of greatest interest is the Yupshar Canyon, which arose during the formation of a huge crack in the rock. The Yupshar Gorge got its first name because of its surprising resemblance to a bag. This miracle of nature spread for as much as 8 kilometers. At the entrance, the width of the gorge is about one hundred meters, but the farther the traveler plunges deeper, the narrower the passage, and at the end of the path it becomes completely narrow - only 20 cm.

Blue Lake - An amazingly beautiful place in Abkhazia, where you should definitely visit. Brightly saturated blue color defined the name of this miracle of nature. There is always calm on the surface of the water, despite the fact that the waters of a mountain tributary rush into the lake. The uniqueness of this lake lies in the fact that it is never covered by ice. Moreover, no one lives in it. Scientists suggest that the lake received its unique color because of lapis lazuli, which lines its bottom. There is a local legend that says that a person who bathed in this lake will gain eternal youth.
7. Krubera Cave
Krubera Cave - one of the most unique places in Abkhazia, located in Gagra. It is a very deep karst cave that goes underground for more than 2 kilometers. It was discovered by Abkhaz speleologists, but it was customary to name it in honor of one of the best Russian speleologists Kruber, who was the founder of karstology. The discovery of this amazing and beautiful place occurred in the early 60s of the last century. The entrance to the cave is located at an altitude of more than 2 thousand meters.
6. Colonnade in Gagra
Colonnade in Gagra - A beautiful place in Abkhazia, founded in the middle of the last century. Initially, it was built as part of the Winter Theater, located near the Seaside Park. Local builders worked on the construction of the building for two years. Now the colonnade serves as an entrance to the local beach. It stretched along the promenade for 60 meters. The structure has four towers, which are interconnected by arches. The colonnade in Gagra is primarily famous for being involved in the Soviet film "Night in Gagra". Vegetation was brought into the park literally from all tropical places on our planet. Here you can find very rare and beautiful plants. In total, over 4 hundred representatives of flora species are represented in the park. In addition to exotic vegetation, one can also find animals in the form of swans and peacocks. In the heart of this beautiful place, a building from the 6th century, once a temple, has been preserved. Now in this building there is a weapons museum. This amazing park, created by man, does not leave indifferent any visitor.
4. The promenade of Makhadzhirov
Makhajirov Embankment - One of the most visited and picturesque places located in Sukhumi. In this part of the city a large number of architectural attractions of historical value are concentrated. In addition to architectural structures, this place is distinguished by lush exotic vegetation.
3. Huck Falls
Huck Falls - An incredibly picturesque place of Abkhazia, which fascinates literally every traveler with its beauty and grandeur. It was formed due to river flows that burst from the bowels of the karst cave. It is located at an altitude of five hundred meters, and its waters are thrown down at an altitude of 70 meters. You can find this miracle of nature in the northern part of the Gegsky ridge, in the place where two rivers meet - Yupshara and Gega. It was in this amazing place that some scenes were shot from the famous Soviet film about Sherlock Holmes. It is not only very beautiful, but also very cool at any time of the year.
2. Castle of the Prince of Oldenburg
Prince Oldenburg Castle - one of the most beautiful sights of Abkhazia. This architectural structure is located on one of the slopes of the mountain in Gagra. The castle was built in the early twentieth century by the architect Lutheransky.
