Goji Island belongs to a group of 400 islands known as Shaanxi, and forms part of the Zhoushan Archipelago, located outside the Hangzhou Bay. This is China's largest archipelago. For a long time people were engaged in fishing here. But servicing ships on the islands became economically unfeasible, so many fishing villages were abandoned and given to the "torn to pieces" of nature.
